The Summer Guide is now available from the Parks Office and city facilities or click on the heading above.  To receive a copy by mail,  call 775-2685 or email nneill@mylubbock.us.   Fall Leisure Guide Available on September 7 The Fall Recreation and Leisure Guide will be released in the Lubbock Avalanche Journal in Lubbock and Lubbock County on Sunday, September 7.  Copies will be available online and in Parks and Recreation on Monday, September 8.  To receive a copy by mail,  call 775-2685 or email nneill@mylubbock.us.   No Arboretum Water Garden Tour This Year The Lubbock Memorial Arboretum will not be hosting their annual water garden tour this year.  They hope to offer an event later this fall.   Lubbock Senior Games - August 13-16, 2008 The Lubbock Senior Games is an open event for individuals age 50+ and is sanctioned by the Texas Senior Games Association.  Seniors compete in various events including: Golf, Tennis, Swimming, Basketball, Track/ Field and Bowling.  The top five places in each age group for each event will qualify for the 2008 Texas Senior Games. Sponsors and volunteers needed!
