Adult Kick Ball & Softball Registration Begins
Upcoming Adult Leagues from Parks and Recreation
Kick Ball Is Back!
Join Lubbock Parks and Recreation Adult Kick Ball League and re-live your childhood days on the playground! Three sessions of Kick Ball Leagues will be offered during 2010. Registration for Session I will be held February 1-5, 2010, and the cost per team is $200. Late registration will occur February 8-12 (an additional $30 late fee will apply), and play begins March 8. League play is available for men's, women's, and mixed teams. Players must be 16 years old or older to participate, and team rosters must have a minimum of eight players with a maximum of twenty players. The ten-game season lasts approximately 8-10 weeks. Individuals without a team can register as a free agent and their information will be passed along to teams needing players. Leagues will be guided by Texas Amateur Athletic Federation's rules.
To register your team, come by the Parks and Recreation Office at 1010 9th Street between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, call (806) 775-2672 or (806) 775-2691.
Session I Adult Softball League Registration
Parks and Recreation will be registering teams for Session I Softball League play February 1-5, 2010. Late registration will occur February 8-12 (an additional $30 late fee will apply), and play begins March 8. The ten-game season lasts approximately 8-10 weeks, and the cost is $330 per team. League play is available for men's, women's, and co-rec teams. Players must be 16 years old or older to participate. This is the first of three adult softball leagues offered annually by Parks and Recreation.
