Fueling the Imagination:
The Vortex of Creativity

"A series of five exclusive art works created specially by Israel artist, Amir Cohen, as homage to the people of Texas. These five art banners will be part of the July 4th festival in Lubbock along Broadway and in the ALON USA/Fina stations. The banners were created from original photographs of flags used by the pioneers in the early days of the independent state of Texas. They become in this digital, contemporary form of art, a symbol of a free society. Based on these facts, the five banners create an artistic dialogue between past and future within a strong connection of ALON USA/Fina, the City of Lubbock, the Buddy Holly Center, the Lubbock Regional Arts Center and the Lubbock community."
