Parks and Recreation utilizes sponsorships and partnerships in order to provide additional support for classes, programs, special events, and park development and improvements. Financial and in-kind services benefit Parks and Recreation, the local tax payer and increases the quality and number of amenities, events and programs available to the public. Parks and Recreation partners with local individuals and businesses for Santa Land, Easter Egg Hunt, the Fall Festival at the Garden and Arts Center, development projects such as the Amphitheater and “Footprints in Time” sculpture garden, holiday activities and tree plantings. Businesses participating with Parks receive exposure and name recognition through publicity materials and during programs and events.
